Tymbark inaugurated the second Maspex factory in Romania
On July 15, 2009 - Tymbark Maspex inaugurated the second group factory in Romania, in Valenii de Munte (Prahova county). Thus, the production and storage center in Valenii de Munte is one of the first in Romania to produce and bottle drinks using aseptic technology, which requires the removal of preservatives.
Built in less than a year, near the first plant in Valenii de Munte, the unit has launched new bottling lines, with modern technology and increased storage facilities. Activity is conducted solely on the basis of the aseptic manufacturing system that allows the preparation and bottling of soft drinks in terms of total quality control, without adding preservatives.
Drinks without preservatives:
Due to the aseptic technology used in the new production center, Tymbark has shortened the path between the fruit and the consumers’ glasses. The system allows thorough control of product quality at every production stage and eliminates the need to use preservatives in order to make sure that the juice lasts longer on the shelves. Basically, the soft drink is made at a high temperature for a few seconds, enough to kill any micro-organisms. The package is then sterilized to destroy any possibility of contamination and, finally, the product is packaged aseptically in a closed system, in which oxygen has been removed. In the absence of oxygen, micro-organisms will not come into contact with the product and it will not be degraded. Thus, the type of packaging used and the production system guarantee a natural taste and quality for the Tymbark juice without using preservatives.
Tymbark Maspex Romania Factory in Valenii de Munte - the largest Polish investor in Romania.
The investment in the new production center Tymbark has exceeded 30 million euros, doubling the value of investments being made so far by the company in the country. Tymbark Maspex has become the biggest Polish investor in Romania.
The new production and storage facilities ensure the continuous development of the company on the Romanian market and hence job security to over 680 employees that Tymbark Maspex Romania has today.
The presidents of the Maspex Group, as well as the Vice - Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Waldemar Pawlak and other officials, participated in the inauguration ceremony.
