Tedi and Children Foundation

Since May 2009, Tymbark Maspex Romania has decided to be more involved in social responsibility projects and founded the Tedi and Children Foundation.

Objectives:
» The acquisition and development of measures initiated so far by Tymbark Maspex Romania (The Tedi Foundation Kindergarten "Children against darkness")

» Involving children from families without financial possibilities in extracurricular activities (painting, dance, sports) during the summer holiday in 2009 (in partnership with local authorities);

» Participation, in partnership with other non-profit organizations, in events aimed at helping children in difficulty;

» The beneficiaries of our projects are children and young people (especially disadvantaged children and / or abandoned, disabled or orphaned, and intellectually gifted young people, without financial possibilities).

Since the 1st of June, the first project launched by Tedi and Children Foundation has been particularly important and has been addressed to children who need support to meet their primary needs: a healthy daily snack. The project is carried out under the name “SOS for the belly”, and it is addressed to all children from the No 3 Kindergarten and the No. 2 Primary School in Valenii de Munte (Valea Gardului). The program is going to be resumed after the start of the new school year.
